A box appeared on my Mac pro the says Beware of a New email scam It has an envelope and a blue button to press How to Protect Yourself I am not clicking on it but i cannot get rid of it It does not have an x to delete it and it cannot be moved. Please advise

It tried this but it was not removed. I ended up calling Apple Support. This turned out to be another form of
Mac Keeper which I had accidentally installed. She was very helpful and Mackeeper was uninstalled. Thanks for answering!

Then you'll need to figure out how you were tricked into installing adware and not do that anymore.
I don't know how to uninstall MacKeeper as ConnorLogan indicated, but there are probably several posts here that explain how to do it.
did not fix my problem - Force Quit Safari, then press shift and start safari... within seconds the mackeeper page popped up.
Force Quit Safari (Apple menu).
Restart Safari holding down the Shift key. That will prevent it from reloading the previous website.
