I have a new iPhone and I want to merge all my photos texts emails notes with my old Apple ID without losing any information. How can this be done?
To clarify, are you saying:
You have a new iPhone and made new Apple ID but you want info from your old Apple ID as well.
OR
You have a new iPhone and want to bring everything from your old iPhone over to your new one.
I misspoke. I replaced my SIM card. My Apple ID I signed out of it a few weeks ago. This phone was set up as a new phone and now I want to sign into my Apple ID but I’m afraid I will lose my notes photos texts and emails. How can I merge new SIM card with Apple ID? Thank you
So, you're saying you've been using your new phone and SIM card for a little while now but have NOT signed into your Apple ID yet on your new phone. But you're worried to sign in to your Apple ID because you don't want to lose the texts and notes etc. you have been using for the past little while that you have been signed out?
SIM card is new, not iPhone. iPhone was recently swiped and set up as a new phone (about 17 days ago). All the photos texts notes and emails are saved on the phone. I cannot backup to phone because I’m not signed into my Apple ID.
Should I first backup phone to computer then sign into Apple ID and iCloud? Afterwards should I restore from the backup or will I lose the photos texts emails notes? How can I safely merge the two together?
If I was you what I would do to be careful is make an iTunes backup of the iPhone.
Then sign into the Apple ID on the iPhone. There should be no reason that anything should be deleted off of your phone after you sign into the Apple ID.
