I have an old PowerBook G4 titanium model and have replaced the hard drive to find the same problem. Error -5349. I have no idea what the problem is but for some reason the hard drives can’t keep the partitions on them. I would hook up FireWire to my iMac G3 and it would make the partitions, but the moment I turn the PowerBook off, it goes away. Can anyone help??
