iCloud server-side spam filter blocking legitimate emails?

I recently dumped Google - I moved everything to iCloud after using Google since Gmail was first released. I'm really happy with everything except that for the first time in my life people who email me are getting their emails rejected, not by my spam filter, but by Apple's icloud servers.

Since I started using my icloud.com email address, I've had a fair number of people get their messages rejected/blocked by the iCloud servers. They send me an email and get a message that their email was rejected. These are people emailing me a single email from a university address for example. Not spam at all, people who are in my address book, who I have hundreds of messages from already (I know that doesn't matter since it's server side, but it's to point out these aren't remotely like spam in any way).

This also appears to happen with some bulk emails - for example the email recently sent out by Flickr announcing changes to their service - that email was blocked by iCloud's mail servers.

I've seen people post about this before, but without resolution:

Getting emails with "Message blocked (...) See technical details below for more information."

Proofpoint blocking email

Anyone know what this is about, if there's any progress being made to fix it, and why icloud servers are rejecting legitimate emails? Has anyone been able to get a response on this?

The email itself that I get has very little information in it, just refers you to Apple's "Postmaster information for iCloud Mail" which doesn't apply at all to most of these messages because they aren't mass mailings. Here's the content of the email when it's blocked:
