Can someone cancel an Apple Pay payment after they sent it and I submitted a transfer to my bank account?

someone paid me a large ammount of money for a service i provided them cia apple pay and i transfered the money to my bank account 3 days ago and it still is not in my bank account. could they have cancelled it? is it possible to do that?
