IMAGE CAPTURE SERIOUS ISSUES

1. There is no longer a progress bar on screen when images are being imported.
2. It seems that Image Capture is no longer cross-references the destination folder to see if duplicate images are being imported. Hence, there is no green-circled "v"/check mark on previously imported images in the Image Capture window.

3. Shift-clicking on the first and last images in a group to select all the images in between and Command-clicking to choose select images no longer works. One can only select one image at a time by shift or Command-clicking each image.

4. When one scrolls down to select older images, the window jumps back up to the top after an image is selected. It is a very tedious process to select a group of older images that do not appear in the window.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one having these issues. On top of what you mentioned, mine also doesn't show which photos have been selected if I do any kind of scrolling, so it's just a big ole guess. The spacing between the window border and the images has also been severely reduced, which makes it pretty impossible to click and drag to select multiple photos. Really frustrating to use when you have thousands of photos to import into separate folders.
