Turn off fingerprint ID for app

When I go to purchase an app it asked for my fingerprint for authorization. My fingerprint scanner is not working. How can I set up another form of authorization so I can get some apps?

If your fingerprint scanner is not working go to Settings<Touch ID & Passcode and deactivate all the items under "Use Touch ID For:".

Then reboot your phone.

Your phone shouldn't default to Touch ID for anything anymore at that point.

Also remember to check individual apps and their settings to ensure there isn't some weird setting ticked on about how you prefer to do a security check.
