MacBook Pro and Thunderbolt Display losing connection

So I have an MBP 2018, and 2 thunderbolt displays. For years ive had to put up with the Thunderbolt Display dropping the audio, USB connectivity, and camera, quite a few times a week. I see posts on this issue from 2012. Is this seriously still not resolved? Any ideas on how to get this fixed. NOT a work around, thats easy, I just want the devices to work properly.

In my case I have something a little different. Like the others, my system says " Thunderbolt: No hardware was found." If I plugin a thunderbolt audio device or external drive its not recognised - Yes, they work fine on other Macs. However, my external displays using a thunderbolt to DVI adapter work fine through the non existent thunderbolt port. My question is "is this still a hardware failure issue?" PS No amount of SMC or PRAM resets have helped.

Thunderbolt 2 ports not working simultaneously on my MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015) Both of my Thunderbolt 2 ports work, but not at the same time. Main points of interest: They have worked simultaneously in the past (I've had my HDMI and both Thunderbolt ports connected to external monitors all at once -- worked perfectly) Each one works without the other (Thunderbolt port A works without Thunderbolt port B, vice versa; both work with and without the HDMI being used) I am using Mini-Display Port cables to connect the Thunderbolt ports to my external monitors. Things I have tried: Updating the OS (I am currently on macOS Catalina v10.15.4) Restarting the system Testing each cable individually to make sure it works Testing each port individually to make sure it works Has anyone else encountered this before? I would rather not have to get charged by Apple to solve this considering the fact that both ports do in fact work separately. Would be very appreciated to have any help.

MacBook takes forever to connect to display I use a USB-C hub to connect my MacBook to an Acer display and my other peripherals when I work from home. Every time I unplug the laptop from this set up and plug it back in, it takes the laptop and monitor to settle down a good 2-3 minutes. During this time, both screens keep turning on and off (I think at different resolutions). It looks like they're trying to do some sort of handshake and failing? Sometimes it feels like things got stuck in a loop and I get tired and try the whole thing again (unplug and plug back in) and sometimes that does speed things up and sometimes it doesn't. Anyway it is extremely frustrating, especially when I'm busy or am late to a meeting. What's the problem?
