I have installed Signal messaging app on my MacBook, my iPhone, and my iPad. On the iPad it substitutes its own cramped and crippled keyboard for the iPad's keyboard. On the iPhone, however, it uses the iPhone's keyboard.
Wondering if any other users of Signal on an iPad have found a way to get it to use the iPad's keyboard instead of its own.

The Signal App is primarily an iPhone App. Whilst the App is supported on the iPad, it isn’t optimised for the larger iPad screen or system keyboard.
Any comments you have regarding the App and its optimisation for iPad should be directed to the App developer.

If they can do it for iPhone it shouldn't be hard for iPad, but they seem pretty impervious to feature requests.
