Does Smart HDR on iPhone XS Max apply to video and photos, or only to photos?

When you enable Smart HDR, will that feature be applied to videos as well? I know if helps the photos look amazing, but what about videos?

To my knowledge, Smart HDR feature has no impact on videos.
