How to test Apple Affiliate Javascript link

How do we test if the Apple Affiliate Program Javascript link is working?

I'm using WordPress + Elementor + OceanWP theme to develop my website. The Apple Affiliate Program (AAP) Javascript (JS) link is supposed to be placed between <footer> and </footer>. Apple's instructions say to use WordPress Appearance | Editor to place the Javascript in the footer.php of the theme file. The OceanWP footer.php doesn't have a <footer> </footer>.

I contacted OceanWP. They recommended the Insert Headers and Footers plugin. I did this. But when I view the pages source, the AAP JS appears above the </body>, but there's still no <footer> </footer>.
