Every time I restart my Mac the App store asks to log in again

Since I've installed OS X Mavericks I'm getting this really annoying pop up to log in again to the Mac App Store every time I boot up my MacBook Pro and log in into my account. Is this normal? I've searched the web but didn't find anyone with the same problem. Any advice? I tried logging out completely from iCloud in my account but it didn't work. Automatic updates are on and I'm running the latest version of OS X.

MacBook Pro (15-inch, Late 2016), macOS Mojave (10.14.1)

Do you have Applications -> Security -> FileVault enabled?

If you do, the first thing you need to do when you power on your computer is to provide a password to decrypt your boot disk. At this point in time, you are talking to a tiny bit of code that cannot look inside your disk yet. As long as FileVault is enabled, you cannot get around this code.

After that you may or may not need to specify which account should be logged in. This part can be controlled using System Preferences -> Users & Groups -> Login Options can control this section.

Might be a corrupt .plist.

Do a backup, preferably 2 backups on 2 separate drives.

Quit the application.

Go to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J. When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder. Select Library. Then go to Preferences/com.apple.appstore.plist. Move the .plist to your desktop.

Restart the computer, open the application, and test. If it works okay, delete the plist from the desktop.

If the application is the same, return the .plist to where you got it from, overwriting the newer one.
