ipad images storage

Hi Is there a way of reducing this problem!!

if I download a video or photo to my iPad It shows in 4 folders, why and has my memory been reduced, can I stop this happening!

example. Video size 50mb it is stored in, camera roll, videos, last import and my saved folder = 200mb.
