Why are my Apple Music payments still happening but when I go to my music it tells me I need to start it up again and I can’t access anything even though I’m still paying for it?

  • Check the active subscriptions for your Apple ID, to see it if mentions Apple Music there. View, change, or cancel your subscriptions - Apple Support
  • In iTunes, set preferences to Show Apple Music features.
  • In iTunes, set preferences to use the iCloud Music Library, if you want to work with online playlists, and sync across devices.
  • The Apple Music subscription is tied to a specific Apple ID. If you log into iTunes with a different Apple ID, then it won’t recognize the Apple Music subscription.
  • If you are not logged into your account at all, then it won’t recognize the subscription.
  • If you visit an iTunes Store for a different region, then you are automatically logged out of your account.
