Best way to transfer names, address, email & phone numbers from contact groups to numbers to create a CVS file to email. Thanks

Where are these names, addresses, email & phone numbers currently recorded?


If they are in Contacts:


Open a new document in Numbers, using one of the Blank templates.

Launch Contacts to place it in front of the Numbers table on the screen/

Select the contact group containing the names, etc.

Select the list of members of that group.

Click and drag the name of one of the selected members to the top left cell of the table in Numbers, then drop to that cell.

All selected cards will be copied to the Numbers table.


Examine the table for data not in its expected column and do any necessary corrections.

Delete the columns containing data that you do not want incuded in the CSV list.


When the table contains only the data you want to include in the CSV file, go to the File menu and choose Export to…, then CSV.

Follow the prompts from there to name the file and choose a location to save.


Attach the file to a Mail message as you would any other attachment.
