I need to get into the back up for old iphone thatI do nothave anymore and is
backed up on my current phone under my storage how do I get it on my pc where I can view what is on there

It is not possible to get into a backup from an iPhone.
Your only option is to restore the backup.
That is correct. If you restore a backup to an iPhone it will overwrite what is there.
TTBOMK there is no way to get anything out of backup without restoring it to an iPhone.
