I did not use Apple books before except having my resume in Apple Books.
My sister just sent me a link for Apple free book, I get free book in my Apple Books and after this I have female default avatar with my name
Question: How to change this avatar to male or at least to add a picture in Apple Books
I know what you said you can upload your picture in general setting your account but I am looking to get back with default male avatar not to update with my photo I thing it is a glitch in iOS 12.1 Books and Apple has to do something in the next update Books Thanks however, I am still looking for solution about CHANGINGING DEFAULT MALE / FEMALE AVATAR
Reset all settings is too much I am going to loose something what I don’t want to loose
besides it is only occurred in Books
how did your avatar change from male to female? - good question probably some kind of glitch the mechanism is unknown however, how this happened please read my explanation in my original question above
I don’t think they’ve got what the problem is. The avatar is the figure next to your name in ibooks (and ibooks only). It’s a female figure, flowing locks of hair, whereas we’d like it to be male. (Probably side parting would be best!). The sign-in feature mentioned in the answers to date relate to the Apple-id.
if you want default avatar ( which seem to be based in first name)
settings-general- reset- reset all settings.
