Inserting a Quicktime Video into Power Point

Does anyone know if there is a way to insert a QT video into power point?

Also, Are you able to insert a regular Itunes video into a power point presentation??

I am working in Windows XP!

Any help would be appreciated by this Newbie!!

this link should provide some helpful suggestions; but you might need to purchase quicktime pro to enable some simple conversions.

You can not use any "protected" iTunes files in any software.

excellent link to indezine, read it all but I still cannot get 'embedded' movies to play within the powerpoint slide. I can get hyperlink movies to work but they open in another window which is not good for using in a presentation. I used to be able to get this to work, but it is v. frustrating now

Yes it is possible.
I do it all the time in teaching powerpoints, but the process is slightly fiddly.

go to:

http://qt4all.onestop.net/

and read about using QuickTime ActiveX controller to view QT content in PowerPoint.

It is not just for QTVRs but for any quicktime content.

Works like a charm once you finally get it figured out.
