HomePod not working blinking volume lights

HomePod is not working any more. Only signs of life are blinking white volume lights. Factory reset does not work. When top button is held on factory reset and changes to red it doesn’t continue any further, it only stay a swirling red while holding it.

Any other fixes to avoid a trip to an apple store?
