Instagram effects not working iPhone

Guys help, I don’t know if it’s my iPhone XR but I’m not getting facefilters or superzoom. On the bottom right hand corner I can only see the switch camera thing and I dont have superzoom on the camera. Also I don’t have Focus either but is it because the iPhone XR has portrait mode and doesn’t need it? Anyway if anyone knows please reply asap. Also I have reinstalled the app it works until I get out of the app and get back in when I have no filters again.

Uninstall the app , restart phone and then reinstall the app .

If the problem is with Instagram,

I have the same problem and have been writing all over social media to get answers to no avail. Write to Instagram, flood their Twitter feed. Eventually they’ll have to respond.

I have been experiencing the same issue with my Iphone XR. It's frustrating because i don't get any answers from Instagram and all Apple tells me is to contact the app developer. I already tried unistalling and reinstalling the app and it works for a few minutes but if i exit out, the same problem returns. If i pay $749 plus for a phone I want all the apps to work correctly. I honestly think it's because of the size of the display and it's an iphone xr issue. Please let me know if you find a solution to this problem.

Whatever you paid does not change the fact that Apple is not responsible for the 3rd parties apps.

All Apple does is provider the developers with iOS Beta where they can test their apps.

You are barking up the wrong tree, you should write them and let them know.

This forum is for Apple products & services, 3rd parties do not participate here.
