I've been restoring an iPad from the iCloud restore for the last 24 hours. Wifi is connected, and there is only about 8g of information to restore. If I choose "Stop Restoring iPad", will I loose everything?

Stay connected to a reliable Wi-Fi network and a functional power source until the process finishes. The time it takes to restore from a backup depends on the size of your backup and the speed of your Wi-Fi network.
The above comes from the below, looks like your Wi-Fi is null, you do not have much choice but to try somewhere else with a better signal.
