I cant sigh in to the cloud after I download the cloud for windows on my home computor

I am trying to download the cloud for windows on my home computer and when done It will ask me to sign in and I get a message that I need to download and will not let me sign in . Am I doing something wrong ? My wife has a mini I pad 2 and a I phone 7x both on the cloud with her sign on name and they both download to the cloud. When I check what she has for systems it shows her phone and mini pad but not my home unit with windows 10 Its a HP1155
