when I connect any dongle to the iPhone 7, the phone doesn’t recognizes it. but when I connect my dongle to the iPhone x, it works just fine. the dongle is also the original that came with the iphone. So what gives? why did my iPhone stop reading the dongle input.
drop by an apple store and have them take a look at the iPhone 7, perhaps a bit of lint in the plug in? Check with a flashlight and remove only with a wooden or plastic toothpick. A can of compressed air is also helpful at times to blow out the "crud" The dongles are the same for all.
