Certain Apps on my Apple TV 4th Generation do not consistently output sound. I have the video showing but no sound. I have tried swapping HDMI cables, deleting and reinstalling the app and resetting sound configurations on both the Apple TV and Television. It doesn't make a difference. The consistent no sound issue appears on NetFlix and Amazon Prime. Help. This so annoying.

if your appletv is set to output surround sound rather then stereo and you don't have surround speakers connected to your tv
then when you play something which is in surround sound most audio is outputted to speakers which are absent
so if you don't have surround speakers go to your appletvs settings and set audio to stereo
