Turn on a range of alarms

Hi,

I like to set plenty of alarms and I always get Siri to turn off all my alarms when I get up.

But Siri can only turn on all alarms, or individual alarms.

I wonder if there is a way to ask Siri to turn on a range of alarms.

E.g. "turn on alarms from 5am onwards"

I was playing around with the shortcuts app but I'm not sure how to create such a shortcut.

Thanks!

Hi Starr.C,

Thank you for your suggestion to use labels, I learnt something new today.

However, I do not have a routine and would have to wake up earlier on some days than others.

I tried to label a batch of alarms as "3am" or "3 morning", but Siri ended up turning on only the alarm for 3am.

It would probably require extensive programming for the shortcuts as well.

Do you have alternatives?

Hello fireworksx,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities! I understand that you would like to know if it's possible to turn on multiple alarms using Siri or the Shortcuts app. I would be happy to help.

If you're using Siri, this could be done by labeling the alarms within the group you want to turn on together. This would allow you to tell Siri, "turn on weekday alarms" for example.

How to set and manage alarms on your iPhone - Apple Support

This section describes how to change the Label for your alarm:

User uploaded file

Set an alarm

  1. Open the Clock app, then tap the Alarm tab.
  2. Tap User uploaded file.
  3. Set a time for the alarm. You can also choose one of these options:

Label: Tap to name your alarm.

If you'd like to create a shortcut within the Shortcuts app for this function, start in the Library tab. Tap on Create Shortcut, then search for the Toggle Alarm action. Tap Choose to the right of Alarm and select a specific alarm from the Clock app. Be sure to turn on Enabled for this action as well. Add the Toggle Alarm action for each alarm you would like to include in this shortcut.
