Disappointed in Apple for releasing a product thats a shabby design. AirPods always fall out even when lying down. Never get a good seal. they can hurt because they have to be pushed into ear repeatedly. So outside noise is ever Blocked.
I would suggest you return to Apple and look at other options. They are not designed as Noise Cancelling Ear Buds. I find that for most activities they stay in just fine (running, walking, talking on the phone) Yes they come out if lying down and sleeping or resting on your left or right side.
You may also have a set of Ears that are hard to fit.
