How do I remove linkedin contacts from Contacts?

Hello All,

I have a lot of contacts synced from LinkedIn and I am unable to remove it from my phone. Is there any way to unlink the LinkedIn and resync the contacts.

Regards,

Bharath

Hi Bharath!

I understand that you'd like to remove contacts from an account on your iPhone, and I'm happy to help. You can follow these instructions from LinkedIn:

Removing Imported or Duplicate Contacts from Your Mobile Device

There isn't a one-step process that will remove your LinkedIn Contacts from your address book. There are permission settings within the iOS operating system that prevent the removal of contacts once they've been added. You'll need to manually remove each contact from the device:

  1. Tap the Contacts icon on your iPhone.
  2. Tap the contact you want to delete.
  3. Tap Edit in the top right.
  4. Scroll down and tap Delete Contact.

Notes:

  • To completely remove connections that have been added, you can connect your phone to a computer using iTunes and edit all of your contacts at once.
  • You can also tap Groups at the top of your Contacts list, then uncheck "LinkedIn" as one of the sources that will show in your address book.
  • You can also remove synced contacts from your contact list through your desktop account.

Cheers!
