Sync iPod Shuffle 4 g to iTunes 12.8 on High Sierra

Trying to sync new iPod Shuffle to iMac iTunes 12.8 with voice over enabled. How long should it take? Mine has made little progress in 2 days.

IMAC (RETINA 5K, 27-INCH, LATE 2015), macOS High Sierra (10.13.6)

Good morning drlucy!

It looks like you're having some trouble with syncing iTunes with your iPod shuffle. I'd like to help out.

The progress should not last 2 days. Have you tried stopping the sync and trying again? Also, make sure that your network speeds are reliable by accessing a few websites to make sure that there are no concerns with network speeds.

Sometimes anti-virus software can interfere with syncing. If you have any installed be sure to temporarily uninstall or disable it and see if the sync progresses.
