hi and thank you i have an imac 2016 the hardrive gave out so i replaced it with the same brand except i dont know how to load the os onto it i am very very new to apple products and so any help will be appreciated thank you

You will have to format the HD first and then you can install Mac OS. If you cannot figure it out, just take the computer to your local independent Apple Authorized Service Provider and they will help you out.
