Wifi keeps turning off by itself

I had an iPhone 7 plus with the most recent ios 11 and now 12 and my wifi keeps turning off by itself. I always restart my phone when the problem occurs, but the wifi stays off and I can’t turn it back on for a while. Sometimes it shows like it's connected but the icon on the top of the phone doesn't show (and in fact it's not connected)

i bought an iPhone XR but the problem seems to have been carried to the new phone. I tried reseting network settings but it seen to persist.

I've seen posts with hundreds of Me Too but apple hasn't addressed this issue!!

iPhone 5, iOS 7.1

If the issue followed you to a new phone, then it's likely something in your backup that is corrupt.

Then set up your iPhone XR as new and test again. If this resolves the issue, then your data is the problem. If not then you need to contact Apple support and make them aware.
