When I swipe down from upper right or up from center bottom i get Notification Center rather than Control Center. I am simply trying to turn on flashlight feature to read.
I din’ want to enable Siri btw.

How you get Control Center depends on the model of iPhone.
iPhone 8 and earlier, swipe up from the bottom of the iPhone.
iPhone X and later, you need to swipe down from the top right corner of the screen close to the edge. If an app is open when you try this, you need to make sure the Control Center is allowed within apps in Settings->Control Center->Access Within Apps.

On an iPhone 7, as mentioned you swipe from the bottom up, to get to control center.
No way to get notification center if swiping from the bottom on an iPhone 7 or 7 Plus.
Note the bottom, is where the home button is.
It got moved recently.. On my iPad Air 2, I swipe down from the top right (not the Center)
Ok now after I enabled Use control center in apps sometimes swiping bottom up or top right down displays control center and at others I get the notification center and at other times nothing happens.

Anyways, if you go into settings, control Center, the instructions are there for how to use it on your device, mine says swipe down from the top right edge
