Forgotten Apple ID password

So I used to have this iPad and there was no any Apple Id or icloud account in it,so when I try to download some apps from the app store it asks me for Apple ID,so I told my friend that am having this kinda problem and he gave me his Apple Id and I started to use it and suddenly I didn't know what the I cloud was and I signed in to it,After some times I was resetting my iPad and it asks me for the Apple Id that I was using on this iPad,I know the Apple Id but I couldn't remember the password(it was my friends)So it's been a while since then I haven't been able to access it,and the biggest problem is that I can not access my friend.

So if there is any one out there please help me with this thing,am living in Ethiopia so unless someone helps me my iPad is not going to work,and it costs 11,000ETB out here and that's lots of money, and am loseing it just because of this Apple Id please someone help me.You are my best HOPE.

Unfortunately, since you signed into your iPad with your friend's Apple ID and password, you can't clear that without you friend's password. There is no other way, unless you have proof (a receipt) that you are the original owner of the iPad.

You cannot have/use an iPad without an Apple ID, so your story is hard to believe.

FYI, Apple ID is not meant to share and using your friend Apple ID is illegal.

Now, only your friend Apple ID can help you deactivate Activation Lock, not Apple or anyone.

Owww I didn't know that, thanks for letting me know, but am telling the 100% truth, the thing is it's not illegal out here every one uses someone's Id,because of the Apple Id.

Apple Id is not a gmail account you can not just create it, it asks for so many information like sil code,st.,phone number...many questions and we don'thave any of the information that it requires so it's hard to create it unless you are using a fake information that's not yours,so it's not illegal out here. It should be illegal using an Apple product while you are in Africa,we can't even perchance an app, we don't have any way of paying it,there is so many problems out here.
