voice memo!!!

I recorded a voice memo and it is not playing please help!! why do you people like frustrating customers. I dont have a lot to say i just want it to play. Everything started acting up after i updated my phone.

iPhone 7, iOS 12.0.1

I understand that you are unable to hear your voice memos upon playback. First quit the Voice Memos app, then restart the phone:

How to force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If that doesn't work then test your microphones out and see if they are functioning properly with this article:
If the microphones on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch aren't working
