dissatisfaction with Mojave

How do I uninstall Mojave from my iMac?

Since I installed it everything -- files, apps-- is taking forever to open, even keyboard is slow!!!

iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2012), OS X Mavericks (10.9.5), love my iMac......Mac user for many, many years!

You can return to your previous system by erasing your entire hard drive and restoring the previous system from the backup you made before upgrading. Make sure you have a full backup before doing this, just in case.

Before you revert to whichever system you were using before try resetting the SMC How to reset the System Management Controller (SMC) on your Mac - Apple Support

If it's still slow it could be a software problem, run and post an etrecheck report http://etrecheck.com/

If you still insist on reverting erase and reformat the hard drive and restore from the backup you made before upgrading How to reinstall macOS from macOS Recovery - Apple Support

The issue is likely NOT with Mojave but with what is installed on your computer. However we need to know what has been installed so we can look for obvious issues.

Please post an EtreCheck report of your system and we can look for any obvious issues. Please click the link, download and run the free version of the app and then post the complete report it produces as your reply to this message.

Ran the report, attached as .pdf file. Hope this works. I do have TimeMachine backing up regularly.

Thanks for any help. Computer worked fine and fast before I installed the Mojave. Not sure I really need this new operating system.
