I upgraded to newest OS on my iMac now some of my videos in PowerPoint no longer work but did work prior to upgrade. Get error message. Called Microsoft said likely a compatibility issue with the new Mojave OS. Lap top works fine since it is till using high Sierra 10.13.4. Will apple fix this?

What version of Office for Mac do you run, the issue may be that it's an older version that MS no longer supports.
No, it's not a known Apple problem. Are you using the latest version of MS Office - Office 365?
I am using office for mac 2016. Updated to 10.14.1 mojave and the old images don't play in PowerPoint. Some newer videos do but others that are older do not. Does this mean I have to update Office? No other solution which has been tried by Microsoft support seems to work. I am reluctant to update only to find out it may not work.
