Photos and family sharing

I bought my daughter an ipad and started the family sharing but it looks like I made her an icloud but the ipad for her is operated under mine. So all my photos were added onto her ipad. When I deleted them from her ipad it also deleted them from all devices. How do I take the photos off of her ipad while keeping them on my devices?
