Unable to Partition Drive for Boot Camp

I am unable to reinstall Windows 10 on my MacBook Pro. It's a 13" Retina Early 2015 running 10.14.1. I had installed it once on here before successfully (was High Sierra at the time). I did remove that partition later on without using BCA to do so.

If I attempt now, it tells me it's unable to create the partition and to run First Aid on the disk. I have done this in Recovery Mode, and if there are errors, it's not reporting anything to me.

I have reset PRAM, NVRAM and SMC for good measure. I really didn't think any of these would be relevant but what I've learned is these are common troubleshooting techniques for these systems.

In a more direct method, I have reinstalled the OS in 3 different ways.

Booted into standard recovery, used Erase on the HDD, reinstalled the OS. Problem persists.

Reinstalled using Internet Recovery, used Erase on the HDD, reinstalled the OS. Problem persists.

Created a bootable flash drive for Mojave after downloading it from the App store and executing a sudo command against Install MacOS Mojave/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia. I changed the startup disk to my flash drive, and again, used Erase on the HDD, reinstalled the OS. Problem is still persisting.

I have to be missing something with getting this HDD completely reimaged, because I believe there must be some lingering shred of Boot Camp's previous configuration somewhere.

Based on reading other posts, I noticed in one cirumstance, reporting the output of diskutil was requested.

Is there a better option while running Mojave?

Update to the story is I got it working.

I booted up from the flash drive again and erased the hard disk using Devices in Disk Utility.

Once I installed the OS again I was able to partition with Boot Camp. But then a new problem came up, it failed to copy the Windows files.

TLDR of the way I fixed it after that point was learning the April Win10 ISO worked, but the October update wouldn't for some reason.

Alright, I may have realized what I was missing.

All of the above listed attempts with using Disk Utility was in Volume view, not devices.

This time I believe I have completely erased the drive. I will report on my success/failure of this.

I just hope that my experience may provide someone with assistance to get past this error.
