New iMac 27” is very slow

I’ve bought my new Mac last september, it’s a 27” 3.8ghz and 2tb fusiondrive with 24gb RAM memory. When I want to open Adobe lightroom or Luminar my iMac is very very slow. Also it had crashed several times while I want to import RAW files to develop.

is there something what I can do about it? Or is it maybe a hardware problem?

Does someone recognize this?
