can I turn off 2 step verification

The screen reads this Mac can’t connect to iCloud because of problem with email. I am not getting the screen on my Mac to enter my password followed by the verification code that issued from my iPhone. I am not the only one have this issue a friend has the same. Therefore on my MacBook I can’t back up anything to the cloud since I can login. iOS 10

I have an iMac mid 2011 and I can’t connect to ICloud. It sends my phone a verification code and asks me to enter it after my password but this doesn’t seem to do anything I have an iMac mid 2011 and I can’t connect to ICloud. I am asked for my password and then I get sent a verification code. However, I can’t see where to type it in. I know I need to upgrade the software from Lion to High Sierra so I am currently backing everything up with Time Machine. I also think I may have to upgrade to El Capitan first. Will this solve my ICloud problems? Many thanks.

Cant login after backup Os12.2 update screwed up my iosd had to restore. Trying to login ti app store but wont let me verify email. Have been sent 9 verification codes but says i cant use that email. I have paid software i need to use 5 hrs ago.
