Get Info from thumb drive

Get Info from a 2 GB thumb drive with 1 folder containing 7 file for a total of 510 MB of data displays this information

Why is the Available 7.27 GB (5.79 GB purgeable) ?

I tried all other formats with the same results.

iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2013), macOS Mojave (10.14.1), OS X
