time machine on a pc?

I have a macbook pro, using time machine to back up to time capsule. Works great once setup correctly. I would like to back up my pc the same way. Possible? If so, is there a version of time machine that runs on the pc?

Some potential options and alternatives...

Did You Know Windows 8 Has a Built-In Time Machine Backup?

As for remote access for a backup into a Time Capsule from Windows? Not good.

The Time Capsule is old, and only supports an outdated and insecure version of SMB, SMB1.

SMB1 has been locked out by default on Windows, though Windows security can be downgraded to allow access here.

Windows doesn’t support HFS+, which was what Apple was using with Time Capsule access.

Apple is no longer selling Time Capsule, and the migration path for Apple folks using Time Machine for remote backups is the acquisition of a third-party NAS and one using more recent SMB support, such as Synology.

As for other alternatives, install a virtual machine and install and boot Windows as a guest on macOS, and then you’ll have most of your environment backed up with Time Machine, and you can have Windows export its backups out of the guest envirnment if you need that.

Other options include SpiderOak, Backblaze and other hosted backup providers. That if you have the network bandwidth available. All of the major hosted services have clients for Windows and macOS.

You’re also probably better served asking Windows rolks about backups, than asking Apple folks. Maybe one of the above solutions to Synology, wiht an eventual migration of Time Machine to the Synology NAS as the Time Capsule ages out, for instance.
