Can't reset my apple id password.

I got my Iphone from usa it was on hello screen.I was able to register with my own apple id just fine,after using it for two days my phone ran out charge and turned off so i recharged my phone and it asked for my pass,I forgot my pass and tried different combos,the lock screen told me to connect to itunes to activate my Iphone,that i did and restored my phone.i got to the screen that asks for apple id,i put in my id n pass it didnot authenticate.I am stuck at this screen please help.
