Microsoft Word 2016 won't open

Hello, I have an early 2015 Macbook Pro, with Microsoft Office 2016. I click on the Microsoft Word icon in the dock, and I receive the message "The application 'Microsoft Word' can't be opened". I haven't really had a problem like this with Microsoft Word before. Has anyone else had this problem before, or been able to solve it?
