Why are my notifications not showing up on my home screen?

I have a iPhone 6s Plus and recently my notifications are not showing up on my home screen. I will get the notifications while my phone is locked and I will get the banner notification when it is unlocked but as far as the little red bubble with the number of notifications is nowhere to be seen. I’ve already reset my network settings, performed the soft reset, turned it off and on, and updated it to the new IOS. Is there anything else I can do to fix this?
