Gear or cogwheel Icon
I do not have the gear or cogwheel icon on my Apple iCloud email. I also cannot filter emails. Why would this be?

In order to set up email filters, this would need to be done from the iCloud website, and not the built-in Mail app on an iOS device. Visit iCloud from a computer and follow the steps here:
