I bought $700 on two HomePods to do stereo sound for my MacBook Pro, and I can't because if two reasons:
- They can't be selected as Stereo on the Sound Output menu on Mojave.
- They have a 2 second delay for the audio coming from my video conferencing apps (Microsoft Teams and Webex).
Really annoying!!!!
Stereo playback is supported from iTunes and iOS devices, but not the native macOS audio controller. Use Feedback - HomePod - Apple to ask Apple to address both issues that you've raised.
