I have just upgraded my MacBook Pro and it has Ios Mojave. My previous MBpro ran QT7 pro....I'm trying to load it onto my new MBpro, but seem to have problems.
Is this a compatibility issue?

QuickTime Player Pro version 7 will run fine in Mojave.
Because it is a 32 bit app Mojave is the last Mac OS for it.

i had no joy with that. I contacted Apple support, and they advised that QT pro is not compatible with IOS Mojave.
Funny they would say that. It runs just fine for me under Mojave.
I believe the next Mojave version will not run 32 bit, so I have no idea what the solution for this will be.
The next upgrade of Mojave (10.14) will still run 32 bit apps.
10.15 will not run 32 bit apps.

Put your QuickTime Player 7 app in the trash and empty it.

Since Snow Leopard I've been using QuickTime Player X.
