Can't turn off two factor authentication

Well, even though my under-memoried 6s (why did they even sell one with this little memory?) can't download the new OS, it still put in the cumbersome two factor authentication, which I did not want. And now support tells me I can't turn it off.

Thanks for nothing, Apple.

How do I permanently disable two factor authentication? No matter how many times I turn two-factor authentication off requirements force me to use it and shut it off after. It has become completely idiotic! I turned it off when I purchased this computer and when I installed the new update it was turned back on and Apple Support is telling me on this computer it was never turned off!
