After much frustration with Microsoft Outlook for Mac 16.9
I am trying to switch to Apple Mail 10.14.1
How can I transfer all my contacts information from Outlook to Apple Mail?
iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.1), Safari 5.1 and Adobe Reader 10.1.1
Apple Mail imports emails in MBOX format only.

After all this time of "cooperation" one would think that it would be a "wizard" in Apple Contacts that would read directly from Outlook - apparently not
Read what I found from a couple of years ago in this ASC thread > Importing Outlook Contacts to Apple Contacts
Summary = you need to export FROM Outlook then import that TO Contacts
Unfortunately, the advice from a couple of years ago said the Outlook export button will result in a csv file. No longer true. I get a ".olm" file, which doesn't help me with importing to Apple Mail. I don't know what to do with this.
Any suggestions on how to proceed?
