Why can’t I hear my music unless I plug my earphones?

i was working out listening to music on my iPhone 6s with earphones and when I unplugged them, I couldn’t longer hear anything, I tried resetting the phone and nothing is working, please help!

If you attempt to turn up the volume on your device after unplugging the headphones, does it show the word Volume, or does it say Headphone. If it is still showing Headphone, see this, If your iPhone is stuck in headphone mode - Apple Support

Had to reset it to factory settings, don’t know what happened, one second was working and then the next it wasn’t, I thought I yanked the earphones too hard when unplugged. Thanks for the advice, though!
